Eileen Barker has provided mediation services in a wide range of areas since 1990, including divorce and family matters, contract, real estate, trade secrets, employment, partnership, probate and business torts. After graduating from Georgetown Law Center in 1978, Ms. Barker worked as a commercial litigator for over twelve years, including with the U.S. Department of Justice (Washington, D.C.), Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (San Francisco) and Bianchi, Engel, Keegin & Talkington (San Rafael). In addition to her private practice, she is currently a mediator for the U.S. District Court, Northern District, the Marin County Courts, San Mateo County Courts, Alameda County Courts, the University of California, San Francisco and the National Association of Securities Dealers. Ms. Barker also teaches mediation, conflict resolution and communication skills to lawyers, mediators and businesses. She currently teaches a commercial mediation course at Sonoma State University and co-leads a 40-hour commercial mediation training given twice each year.
